Job title: Adjunct Faculty - Management Company: Webster University Job description : External Job Description The Department of Management at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, is recruiting adjunct faculty to teach in the Management Department programs. Graduate level courses typically meet one evening per week for nine weeks. Undergrad courses either meet once a week for 8 weeks or during the day (number of days and times vary per course) over 16 weeks. Location Webster Groves Campus-WEBG Minimum Qualifications Faculty teaching at the graduate level shall have at least one of the following: A minimum of a terminal degree (as defined by the discipline) in the same or closely related discipline as the course(s) taught. Alternatively, a minimum of a terminal degree (as defined by the discipline) with eighteen (18) or more earned credit hours in the same or closely related discipline as the courses taught. Evidence of tested experience appropriate to the specific teaching assignment. Preferred Qualifications All academic degrees earned in the U.S. shall have been awarded by regionally accredited institutions, and faculty shall provide documentation thereof. For faculty whose degrees are earned abroad, official transcripts must be submitted to and evaluated by the appropriate academic unit. Tested Experience: Qualification to teach in a particular field may be based on other credentials and/or a combination of academic, experiential, and other credentials. HLC Assumed Practice B.2 allows an institution to determine that a faculty member is qualified based on experience that the institution determines is equivalent to the degree it would otherwise require for a faculty position. This experience is tested experience in that it includes a breadth and depth of experience outside of the classroom in real-world situations relevant to the discipline in which the faculty member would be teaching.
