Resolute Documentation Services is looking for EXPERIENCED Legal and Law Enforcement transcriber/editors. Learn more about us at www.documentationusa.com... Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3* years of experience *in legal or law enforcement transcription and/or editing. Primary workload includes transcribing verbatim, multi-speaker, legal and investigative interviews. Law Enforcement includes other verbatim recordings such as Body Worn Camera recordings, 911 calls and interrogations. Experience with verbatim transcribing and formatting rules is a must. The workload is a mix of straight typing jobs and editing voice recognized jobs. Most jobs are verbatim multi-speaker. Experience with editing voice rec is preferred. Pay is based on production. Rates generally by the page or by the line and vary per account. Full time effort is not required. Generally we are looking for producers who can transcribe and return a minimum of 60 minutes of audio per day. Skills Required: 70 WPM or higher High Accuracy Rate Minimum 3 Years of Experience in Transcription (Where transcription was your main responsibility and how you made a living). Law Enforcement or Legal experience required Transcribe minimum 60 minutes of audio per day Equipment Required: PC with Windows 10 or later USB Transcription foot pedal Wired internet connection (not WiFi) The application process includes typing test jobs. Active AAERT Certification is a plus and will move you to the top of the interview list. Responsibilities Transcribe law enforcement and legal audio recordings with accuracy and attention to detail. Edit transcriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to guidelines. Proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies. Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style for formatting and citation requirements. Use verbatim formatting and follow account style guides.
